It was the forward that Carl Jung wrote in the copy of the ‘I Ching’ one of my professors gave to me that changed my perception of art. I began to see it as a form of divination; a way of mirroring the whole world at the time of the piece’s creation. That’s at the heart of everything I create now, from paintings to music. Years after graduating from university, I am finding the space to work on my song-writing practice with more focus and dedication than I’ve previously been able to give to it. I am in the process of writing a set of auto-ethnographic songs that have been almost 7 years in the making and I can’t wait to share them with the world.
